The need for orthopedic insoles can be checked very easily by looking at your shoes. If the sole of your shoe is more worn on the outer side, it means that you need to wear a Pronating orthopedic insole, which effectively corrects the incorrect position of the foot and stabilises the heel.
Orthopedic Pronating insoles are dedicated to people who struggle with heel and knee valgus or excessive supination. This defect is characterised by an outward bending of the knees and, as a result, an incorrect position of the feet and a posture defect.

What is Supination?
The arrangement of the feet has a huge impact on the posture of the entire body. Supination- or inversion or external rotation is a natural phenomenon consisting in the suppression of vibrations generated while walking. This creates adequate cushioning for muscles and joints. A health problem occurs when excessive supination occurs, i.e. the inner edge of the foot is lifted upwards. This phenomenon leads to excessive load on the inside part of the foot and, as a consequence, to many pains and diseases:
🦶 foot and knee pain
🦶 heel spurs
🦶 feeling of leg fatigue
🦶 flat feet
🦶 hip pain
🦶 back pain in the lumbar region
🦶 corns.
This model of Kingmed orthopedic insoles has a longitudinal arch lift and metatarsal arch support to prevent the formation of transverse-longitudinal flatfoot.
Recommendations and instructions for use:
l Before using orthopedic insoles, consult an orthopedist or physical therapist.
l Full adaptation of the feet to the insoles takes place after a minimum of 3 weeks of their systematic use.
l Orthopedic insoles should be used in shoes in accordance with their intended use - the left insole for the left shoe and the right insole for the right shoe. Before placing the insole in the footwear, it is recommended to remove the factory padding from the shoes.
l Orthopedic insoles can be cut to a maximum of 0.5 cm from the toe side in order to adjust the shape to the type of footwear.
l Orthopedic insoles should be cleaned by hand, using a damp cloth with the addition of a mild antibacterial soap.
l If the product gets wet, it should be dried in the ventilated place at room temperature.
l Do not dry in tumble dryers, on a radiator, in the sun or overheat.
